Parts Warranty Disclaimer
Cobb’s Body Shop, LLC does not provide any warranty on replacement parts used in repairs.
Any warranties that may apply to replacement parts are provided solely by the part manufacturer or supplier, and are subject to their individual terms and conditions. Cobb’s Body Shop, LLC does not guarantee or assume responsibility for the performance, durability, or workmanship of these parts.
In some cases, a customer’s insurance company may provide coverage for replacement parts, such as an LKQ (Like Kind and Quality) Parts Warranty. Customers are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to determine whether any parts warranty applies to their repair.
If you have questions, we are happy to help point you in the right direction.
Labor Warranty
At Cobb’s Body Shop, LLC, we take pride in the quality of our collision repairs and stand behind our workmanship.
We provide a 12-month / 12,000-mile (whichever occurs first) limited warranty on labor for collision repair services performed at our facility, beginning on the date repairs are completed.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in workmanship related to collision repairs, including body work, panel installation, and related labor operations performed by Cobb’s Body Shop, LLC.
If a defect in our workmanship is identified within the warranty period, we will correct the issue by re-performing the defective labor at no additional labor cost.
What Is Not Covered
This limited labor warranty does not apply to:
- Customer-supplied parts – Any parts provided by the customer are excluded. Cobb’s Body Shop, LLC does not warranty the quality, fit, or performance of these parts, nor any labor associated with their failure.
- Paint finish defects caused by external damage after delivery (rock chips, scratches, environmental fallout, improper care, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage resulting from subsequent accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Improper maintenance or failure to follow recommended care instructions
- Repairs, adjustments, or modifications performed by another repair facility after our work is completed
- Corrosion, rust, or deterioration not directly caused by defective workmanship
- Damage caused by environmental conditions, road hazards, or acts of nature
Paint & Materials Note
Paint and materials used in collision repair may be covered by separate manufacturer or supplier warranties. Proper care and maintenance are required to preserve the finish. This labor warranty applies only to the workmanship involved in application, not external damage or lack of maintenance.
Parts Disclaimer
This is a labor-only warranty. Parts installed by Cobb’s Body Shop, LLC may carry a manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty, if applicable. We will reasonably assist customers in processing eligible parts warranty claims, but no separate warranty on parts is provided unless stated in writing.
